samuel morland AG was incorporated in 2008 with the specific mission to license renewable energy technologies to global markets. samuel morland’s core focus and expertise is to specifically seek out technologies that are commercially viable and meet global market opportunities. Over the last five years samuel morland founder Thomas Nikolaus has built key relationships, developed focused market research, and secured the production rights for a proven 600kW wind turbine.
This wind power turbine was developed by one of the early pioneers in wind technology, it has six years of successful field performance in the harsh environment on the North Sea coast of Germany, and has achieved the commercial milestone of Germanischer Lloyd’s certification.
samuel morland holds the production, assembly, and sales rights for this 600kW turbine in the USA and Canada, and holds an option to exercise similar rights in other global markets. Complimentary to the wind turbine license, samuel morland holds a blade manufacturing license from a different German manufacturer that enables it to manufacture blades in all global markets.
Currently, samuel morland is launching operations to manufacture and assemble wind turbines and blades in North America to supply the growing demand for mid-sized wind turbines throughout North America. This lead manufacturing entity will also supply the global market for 600kW turbine parts and blades.
